Returns Policy
We hope you love what you order from Ungarnished. If something isn't quite right, the following policy explains your options for returns, cancellations and refunds.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
Changing Your Mind
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without having to provide a reason.
To exercise your right to cancel, please use our system to initiate a return within 14 days of receiving your order. Once you have notified us, you must return the goods within 14 days.
Products should be returned in their original condition and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging. You may inspect the goods as you would reasonably be able to in a shop. Where permitted by law, we may reduce a refund if the value of the goods has been diminished through handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and condition.
Return Shipping Costs
Unless an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
We recommend using a tracked postal service and retaining proof of postage until your refund has been completed.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and processed, we will issue any refund due to the original payment method.
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel the entire order, we will also refund the cost of our standard delivery option where required by applicable UK consumer law. If you selected a more expensive delivery service, such as express shipping, we are not required to refund the additional amount above our standard delivery charge.
Refunds will be processed within the timeframe required by applicable consumer law. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refund in your account.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, incorrect or not as described, please use our system to initiate a return and select the relevant reason with a note describing the problem.
Where goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights, which may include a replacement, repair or refund. Where a return is required because we supplied faulty, damaged or incorrect goods, we will cover reasonable return costs.
Signed or Personalised Products
Products that have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised may not be eligible for cancellation or return simply because you have changed your mind. This may include books containing a personalised dedication or other products created specifically for you.
This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Digital Products
Where Ungarnished sells downloadable digital content, different cancellation rules may apply. If you expressly agree to receive digital content immediately and acknowledge that you will lose your statutory cancellation right once the download or supply begins, you may no longer have the right to cancel after that point. Any applicable conditions will be clearly communicated before purchase.
Consultancy, Events and Services
Consultancy services, masterclasses, events, appearances and other professional services offered by Ungarnished are not covered by this physical product returns policy.
Any cancellation, deposit, rescheduling and refund terms relating to these services will be set out separately in the relevant proposal, agreement, booking terms or service terms.
International Returns
International customers may return eligible products in accordance with this policy and any mandatory consumer rights applicable to their purchase. Unless the product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise required by law, international return postage and associated charges are the customer's responsibility.
Original customs duties, import taxes and similar charges paid directly to local authorities or carriers may not be refundable by Ungarnished.
