Hi, I am Angelos Bafas. If we met, you might know me as Mr Ungarnished.
Flavour and sense of place are my “kinks”. While most of us bartenders have been overthinking it and kept on adding, I decided to go the other way. Strip it back. Focus on the guest, on the juice and the overall experience. That’s what shaped the way I work.
Over the past years, I have led bar programs at group level, creating several bars and award-winning venues that have been globally recognised amongst some of the best in the UK and the world.
I created Ungarnished with one thing in mind. Simplicity. But also execution. Precision. Care. Love. Consistency. Sense of place.
